We are permanently discontinuing our LinkedIn Chrome Extension to protect our users and comply with LinkedIn's User Agreement. This decision was made after LinkedIn clarified their stance on browser extensions and automated tools.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why was this decision made?

LinkedIn's User Agreement explicitly prohibits "any third party software, including browser plug-ins or browser extensions that scrape, modify the appearance of, or automate activity on LinkedIn's website." Continuing to provide the extension would put both Klipy CRM and our users at risk.

What are the risks of continuing to use LinkedIn browser extensions?

According to LinkedIn's policy:

  • Your LinkedIn account may be restricted or permanently shut down without notice

  • Any connected tools may become non-operational without warning

  • You may be in violation of LinkedIn's User Agreement

What should I do now?

  1. Uninstall the Klipy CRM LinkedIn Chrome Extension immediately

  2. Review LinkedIn's User Agreement to ensure compliance with your other tools

Where can I learn more?

You can review LinkedIn's full policy on prohibited software and extensions in their User Agreement, Section 8.2, which specifically prohibits tools that:

  • Scrape or copy LinkedIn services

  • Automate LinkedIn interactions

  • Modify the appearance of LinkedIn

  • Override security features

  • Bypass access controls

Looking Forward

We remain committed to providing powerful CRM solutions while respecting platform policies and protecting our users' accounts. We'll continue to develop features that enhance your workflow within acceptable guidelines.
