What is BCC/Forward Mode?
BCC/Forward Mode is a privacy-focused alternative to Klipy's standard email logging. Instead of automatically capturing all sent and received emails, this mode gives you complete control over which emails are logged in Klipy by using manual forwarding and BCC methods with a connected email address (like [email protected] or [email protected]).

How to Set Up BCC/Forward Mode
Go to Settings > Managed Email
Connect an existing email address (like [email protected]) that you'll use for logging
Go to Settings > Mailroom > Privacy Options
Click "Enable BCC/Forward Mode"
Enter the address you will be forwarding from (like [email protected]).
Save your settings
How to Use BCC/Forward Mode
For Emails You Send:
Simply add your connected email address to the BCC field when sending emails you want to log. Emails without this BCC won't appear in Klipy.
For Emails You Receive:
When you receive an email you want to log, forward it to your connected email address. Only forwarded emails will be captured in your Klipy account.
Best Practices
Consider using a shared team email (like [email protected]) if multiple team members need to log emails
Create a contact in your email client for easier BCCing
Set up email rules or filters to streamline forwarding important messages
Regularly review which emails you're logging to maintain the right balance of privacy and record-keeping
Switching Between Modes
You can switch between Standard and BCC/Forward Mode at any time in your settings. Note that changing modes won't affect previously logged emails.
